Attitude of Gratitude Workshop
Gratitude is associated with psychological well-being in both athlete and nonathlete populations. Gratitude interventions attempt to enhance the experience and expression of gratitude. The "Attitude of Gratitude" workshop is a gratitude intervention designed specifically for athletes.
The presenter's guide provides a step-by-step explanation of how to implement the workshop. Facilitation tips and handouts are provided.
Objectives:
- Athletes will generate a list of things and/or people for which or for whom they feel grateful.
- Athletes will consider means of expressing gratitude in their lives.
